All-Day Budget Referendum-Superintendent's Message

Superintendent's Message

With 13 days left until the 2020-2021 School Year ends, I want to sincerely thank everyone for their support and effort over the last 15 months! While far from perfect, time and time again I have seen students, families and staff come together to persevere under the most challenging conditions.  As a school community, we will learn from our mistakes and successes, as we come out of this pandemic. But we have no time to waste.  We know this pandemic has impacted so many in different ways.  As we start to return to a more "normal" existence, we must ensure that we provide the support and services necessary to address every student's needs.  This does not only include a strong and robust academic program, but also the extra-curricular activities, clubs, and athletic programs our students need and deserve. We will come out of this pandemic together...and stronger!

I am asking you to share your voice on Thursday June 10th at the All-Day Referendum.  The leadership of the Coventry Public Schools has worked closely and diligently with the Coventry Town Leadership to put forth a responsible budget that addresses the needs of our entire community.  The Coventry Public School budget provides the resources and support to continue to improve our academic programs, while addressing the social and emotional needs of our students.  The Coventry Public School budget will provide for all of the clubs, activities and athletic programs in all of our schools.  Please make every effort to get to the polls this Thursday and vote.
